The world’s first hands-free centrifuge tube filtration system! Each filtration unit includes a sterile centrifuge tube and cap, 50mL funnel with PES membrane, funnel adapter (for the 15mL tube assembly), vacuum hose adapter, and dual centrifuge tube stand.
The Autofil® Centrifuge Funnel system is used for sterilization of tissue cultures and microbiological media, buffers, reagents, and other laboratory solutions. This system avoids potential contamination by eliminating any unnecessary fluid transfer to the centrifuge tube post-sterilization, and reduces risk of spills.
This hands-free filtration system works in conjunction with the Quick-Connect Pedestal or Cradle Ring which provides on/off vacuum flow control. These two filtering options provide a permanent vacuum hose connection if a Quick-Connect Pedestal or Cradle Ring is not available.
The Autofil® Centrifuge Funnel system is offered as a full assembly, or funnel only. Available sizes include a 15ml and 50ml centrifuge tube with 0.1 µm, 0.2 µm, and 0.45 µm PES membrane pore-size options.
