CL-1000 Series Utraviolet Crosslinkers
By UVPThe UVP CL-1000 Series Ultraviolet Crosslinkers feature a UV crosslinking procedure that optimizes the use of UV energy while ensuring that crosslinking is consistent. Models are available with shortwave, longwave or midrange ultraviolet tubes. Use shortwave for sterilization and bonding DNA; use midrange for gel electrophoresis; use longwave for UV curing.
Presetting delivery 120,000 microjoules or five minutes of exposure. The maximum UV energy setting is 999,900 microjoules per cm2. Clear door window allows viewing of the process while blocking the UV radiation and a safety shut off system further protects the user from exposure to UV. A large digit LED display above the touch panel continuously displays remaining time or energy setting.
- Easy access via laydown type door
- Internal microprocessor measures and controls UV output, ensuring maximum energy efficiency
- Preset and manual controls for UV or time exposure settings
- Internal UV sensor is calibrated with traceability to NIST (or NPL in UK and Europe) Standards
- Small footprint
UV wavelength is interchangeable in any model by changing the UV tubes and calibrating the unit to the new wavelength with the UV sensor (ordered separately).
Ultraviolet Source: Five 8-watt dual bipin discharge type tubes. External Dimensions are 13.7D x 15.6W x 8.75H in. (348 x 396 x 222 mm). Internal Dimensions are 12D x 10W x 5H in. (305 x 254 x 127 mm).
