RapidVap® Evaporation Accessories

RapidVap® Vacuum Evaporation Systems and RapidVap® N2/48 Evaporation Systems require a block for use. RapidVap® N2 Systems include a block but additional blocks may be desired. Block tube capacity ranges from 8 to 110 tubes depending on sample and tube size. Glassware is required but not included. Blocks are interchangeable.
Glassware tubes are unique to the RapidVap® Vacuum and N2 Evaporation Systems. Tubes are made of borosilicate ground glass and offer better fit and heat transfer for faster evaporation rates. Tubes with stems are designed for use with Cool-Zone™ timed end point determinations. To minimize evaporation time, the tube with the correct end point stem should be used. Flat-Bottom tubes are for use in applications when the samples are taken to dryness. Tubes have calibration markings and are available individually and in packages of eight.
The Glassware Cap helps prevent cross contamination and moisture from condensing when using low boiling point solvents. The Glass Lid with Heater improves visibility and eliminates solvent condensation on the inside of the lid. The glass lid, with 40-watt heater bonded to it, plugs into the electrical receptacle located on the back of the RapidVap®.
