Glas-Col® Heating Tapes

Use this convenient wrap-around tape to heat lengths of glass tube or metal pipe.

Ribbon-type heating elements running lengthwise in the tape are encased in durable glass braid and are impregnated and covered with silicone rubber. Terminal leads and fittings are also insulated with silicone rubber so that tape is resistant to most environmental conditions found in the laboratory, and may be used in high moisture areas.

Resistant to burnout, even when overloaded beyond power rating. Tapes as short as 3' may be used at 115V without a reducing voltage transformer. Temperature limit is 480°F. Comes with separable four-foot extension cord with a two-blade cap.
