Glas-Col® Large Capacity Mixers provide both orbital and vortexing action for all laboratory mixing needs. The variable speed motor with filtered control offers mixing speeds of 0-1500 rpm. Selecting a lower speed gives you a gentle orbital motion, while a higher speed provides vigorous vortexing. The pulsing feature lets you interrupt the mixing process and join the upper and lower strata for better mixing. The momentary on/off power switch allows one-finger control.
The Large Capacity Mixer is also designed to handle a wide variety of vessels and features an interchangeable cartridge system to hold mixing vessels such as microcentrifuge tubes and Erlenmeyer flasks. The cartridge system allows the user to quickly switch from one type of vessel to another, or to mix more than one type of vessel at a time. Cartridges are made of Isoloss® LS high density urethane and ABS plastic for long life. All cartridges sold separately.
