Corning® EIA/RIA plates are tested on lot-to-lot basis. Available in three well shapes: flat-bottom (with round wells), round, and the Easy Wash™ design (round to narrowed flat-well bottom for improved washing in immunoassays). Recommended working volume 75 to 200µL. These 96-well polystyrene microplates have plate dimensions (length x width x height) of 127.76 x 85.48 x 14.22mm and footprint that meet microplates industry standards. Available in sterile or non-sterile; bagged or individually wrapped.
Not treated (or medium binding) polystyrene surface is hydrophobic in nature and binds biomolecules through passive interactions. Is suitable primarily for the immobilization of large molecules, such as antibodies, that have large hydrophobic regions that can interact with the surface. Binding capacity of approximately 250 ng of mouse IgG/cm2. High binding surface option binds medium (>10kD) and large biomolecules that possess ionic groups and/or hydrophobic regions. Binding capacity of approximately 500ng of mouse IgG/cm2. Ideal for immunoassays.
