96-Well Thermowell® PCR Plates, Corning®

Corning® Thermowell® 96-well clear polycarbonate PCR microplates fit the most commonly used thermal cyclers. For oil-free operation, plates must be used with sealing tape or a sealing mat and used in conjunction with thermal cyclers that have heated lids. Well dimensions are 6.5 x 13.1mm. Total well volume of 200µL.

Available in two models:

  • Model P is compatible with the following thermal cyclers: Perkin-Elmer GeneAmp PCR Sytem 9600*, Barnstead Thermolyne Amplitron II* amd Techne Cyclogene, Genius and Touchgene.

  • Model M is used with Bio Oven III; M.J. Research PTC-100-96V*, PTC-200 DNA Engine; Biometra Uno; Coy Corp. Temp Cycler II; Corbett Research PC 960, Pc 960 G, PC 960 C; Hybaid OmniGene with Microblock; Lab-Line Programmable Thermal Block*, QuatroBiosystems T-C-40.

*Use in these thermal cyclers requires the spacer block and frame Cat.No 83-6527.
