Single UV and Variable Intensity Benchtop Transilluminators feature increased performance and efficiency. The electronic ballast and cutting-edge construction produce higher UV intensity and uniformity as well as instant start up.
These economical single and variable intensity models are equipped with 8-watt, 302nm UV tubes. The variable intensity models feature a high setting, allowing UV excitation of fluorophores on gels for routing photography (also excites gels with low sample concentration). Medium intensity is excellent for viewing, as well as quick single-band excision. Low setting is used for positioning and preparation of the gel, excising multiple bands, and focusing for photography.
Gel tools and converter plates are available.
