The Spectroline TV series 312nm wavelength transilluminator offers completely continuous control of UV intensity, from 100% down to 20% of the typical irradiance of 8000µW/cm2. High UV output and irradiance uniformity enable detection of even trace amounts of fluorescing materials.

All models include an internal cooling fan, a dust cover, a UV blocking cover, and a diffusing screen attached below the filter glass to enhance light distribution and reduce striations. The hinged UV blocking cover adjusts from 0 to 180°; it protects users from hazardous UV radiation and the transilluminator filter from accidental damage. The fan assures low filter surface temperatures to protect samples and maintain the highest operating intensity.

TV series models are constructed of vinyl-clad aluminum housing with stainless steel filter frames. Three models are available with different size filter viewing areas to accommodate all standard gels. The wavelength can be modified by changing the UV tubes. Dimensions (W x L x H): 12 x 21-3/4 x 4". UL listed. 115V, 60Hz.
