Celltreat® Roller Bottles are manufactured from medical grade virgin polystyrene and feature easy-to-read black printed graduations and a large knurled cap for easy grip. Roller Bottles are available in two sizes: 1000mL volume with 490cm2 of surface area and 2000mL volume with 850cm2 of surface area, in treated or non-treated versions. Tissue Culture Treated Roller Bottles have a uniform hydrophilic surface ideal for consistent cell attachment. Choose between vented or non-vented cap for open or closed systems. Vent caps feature 0.22µm hydrophobic membrane
Ideal for large-scale cell growth, Expanded Surface Roller Bottles (ESRB) feature horizontal ribs to bathe cells more evenly than bottles with vertical ribs. Surface are is increased from 850cm2 to 1900 cm2, so you can grow more cells without the added cost of additional bottle or roller apparatus. The larger growth area options also maximize valuable laboratory space and save time by reducing repetitive tasks.
Bottles and caps are packaged sterile (gamma irradiated) and are individually bagged.
