Corning® Polystyrene Roller Bottles

These Corning roller bottles are manufactured from virgin polystyrene and are treated for optimal cell attachment, with caps made of high density polyethylene. Both resins meet the USP Class VI requirements for plastic containers and closures. One piece seamless construction. Sterilized by gamma radiation and certified nonpyrogenic. Corning recommends 0.2 to 0.3mL of medium per cm2 of growth area and setting roller rack speeds to provide 0.5 to 1.0 rpm. Most bottles have black printed graduations. Available with several cap options.
Cat.No. 83-430195 is not graduated. It has a plug seal cap which provides a liquid- and gas-tight seal and is designed for use in closed systems. When loosened, this cap can be used in open systems.
The easy grip vent cap on Cat.No. 83-431198 is designed for applications requiring consistent gas exchange.
