DWK Life Sciences (Kimble) Schellbach Automatic Zero Burets with Three-Way Stopcock
Kimax® Schellbach buret with a filling tube at the stopcock and an overflow tube at the top of the buret that accept 1/4 inch I.D. flexible tubing. Employs a blue line on a broader white band running vertically behind the scale to create an optical effect which causes the meniscus to assume an apparent form. An automatic or self-zeroing buret must be read only at the apparent meniscus for which it has been calibrated when volumes are dispensed from zero to any other point. Use of true meniscus in this case would result in a lesser volume being dispensed than between any two other points of the same nominal volume. For greater accuracy, however a "buret reader" should be used to eliminate the exaggerated parallax problems. Stopcock for all sizes is PS 2. Scale is durable black ceramic enamel. Replacement stopcock is 6-41530F-2.
