Scilogex® microcentrifuges are well-designed, accurate and portable small centrifuges ideal for a multitude of applications, including pelleting of DNA and RNA samples, pelleting of PCR amplified nucleic acids, separation of antibody and protein precipitates, performing enzymatic tests, removing cell debris from cell homogenates, and achieving bacterial and yeast cell fractionation.
The D3024 High Speed Personal Microcentrifuge offers whisper quiet and stable operation for convenience and comfort in the laboratory environment, and uses a maintenance-free brushless motor which also reduces centrifuge down-time. Features a powerful centrifugal force of 21,280 x g. With an integrated, user-friendly LCD display to provide all necessary operating information visually in real-time. Temperature display for maximum sample protection, as well as gentle braking at low speed for better separation. For optimum safety, centrifuges are provided with dual door interlock design. A unique cooling design minimizes rotor overheating. Centrifuges are supplied with a 2mL x 24 rotor kit. Spare rotors are available separately.
If a sample is sensitive to temperature, refrigerated microcentrifuge D3024R provides special double-cooling air design to minimize rotor heating. These microfuges maintain the internal temperature below 4 °C at maximum speed to protect precious samples from degrading or decomposition at higher temperatures.
