Restek Rt-βDEX™ Columns for Chiral GC

These fused silica columns from Restek use high purity Rtx®-1701 crossbonded polymer to perform chiral separations. Optimized for separating optical isomers, these seven different types of Rt-βDEX columns provide maximum efficiency in a chiral stationary phase and yield a high resolution of enantiomeric compounds. The 0.25µm Rtx-1701 siloxane stationary phase in these columns has been immobilized for low bleed and enhanced column longevity.

Columns are 30m in length; available with 0.25 or 0.32mm I.D. All seven phases operate at 40 to 230°C.

Rt-βDEXm™ (permethylated beta cyclodextrin doped into 14% cyanopropylphenyl/86% dimethyl polysiloxane) is a general purpose chiral phase.

Rt-βDEXse™ (2,3-di-O-ethyl-6-O-tert-butyl dimethylsilyl beta cyclodextrin doped into 14% cyanopropylphenyl/86% dimethyl polysiloxane) is similar to Rt-βDEXsm™ but gives better resolution of limonene, linalool, linalyl acetate, ethyl-2-methylbutyrate, 2,3-butane diol and styrene oxides.
