Falcon® cell culture plates are made of crystal grade polystyrene for flat, distortion-free optics. Dishes feature stacking rings for easier stacking and handling. Vacuum gas plasma treatment permanently and consistently modifies the cell growth surface. Choose between hydrophilic standard tissue-culture surface and Primaria™ treated surface. Tissue-culture surface contains a variety of negatively charged functional groups that support cell attachment and spreading and Primaria™ surface additionally incorporates nitrogen-containing functional groups. It has been shown to support improved attachment, spreading, and differentiation of some cell types. Nonpyrogenic, sterilized by gamma irradiation, and packaged in peel-open, medical-style bags.
Easy-Grip dishes offer a more secure hold when handling small dishes. The frosted handling rim of the dish base makes it easy to differentiate the base from the lid, allowing users to pick up the dish without accidentally removing the lid, letting you work faster and improving aseptic manipulation.
