Two-Place Kjeldahl Digestion Units

The Kjeldahl Digestion Unit is ideal for laboratories that require separate digestion stations or as an addition to existing Kjeldahl apparatus. Provides macro digestion for nitrogen determination of one or two samples up to five grams. The Two-Place Digestion Unit offers the same rugged construction as larger Kjeldahl models with added portability. Units may be also be conveniently placed in a fume hood or on any benchtop.
The Digestion Unit has a sturdy welded steel framework that is epoxy coated to provide corrosion resistance. The 600-watt curved ceramic heaters are specifically designed to cradle Kjeldahl flasks and the chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) exhaust manifold fitted with PTFE nipples is standard on every unit. The heaters securely meet the bases of 500 or 800mL Kjeldahl flasks (not included) to provide fast, evenly distributed heat. Individual infinite-control knobs provide variable heat input from 20-100% of capacity. Includes an electrical cord and plug.
Requires connection to a water aspirator pump for operation. Inlet and outlet water connections are 3/8" NPT.
