These vacuum filter/storage bottle systems are designed for filtering and storing cell culture media, biological fluids and other aqueous solutions. The systems consist of a polystyrene receiver bottle and filter funnel and a polyethylene neck adaptor with hose connector. Available with nylon (NY), cellulose nitrate (CN), cellulose acetate (CA) or polyethersulfone (PES) membrane filters in 0.2, 0.22, or 0.45µm pore size.
Corning filters feature adapters that are color-coded by membrane type for easy product identification. Angled hose connector simplifies vacuum line attachment. Receiver bottles feature easy grip sides for improved handling. Individually packaged, sterile, certified non-pyrogenic. Caps for receiver bottles are supplied sterile and individually packaged. Expiration dates appear on the filter funnel and shipping boxes. Expiration date of the membrane is three years from the time the product is sterilized. Filter funnel and receiver bottle are of the same size except as indicated.
