Polycarbonate/polypropylene capsule filters for absolute microfiltration. Guaranteed filtration of all particulates larger than the membrane pore size. Available in 0.2µm pore size, vented or unvented, or 3µm pore size, vented. Effective filtration area of 1350cm2 for the vented 0.2µm capsule or 1740cm2 for the 3µm capsule. Maximum operating pressure of 3.5kg/cm2 at 21°C.
The capsules provide a nonmedia-migrating acrylic copolymer membrane that prevents the introduction of unwanted particles downstream. The 0.2µm filter membrane is polyester reinforced; the 3µm filter membrane is nylon supported.
The nonvented 0.2µm capsule comes with 3/8" NPT inlet and outlet connections and an optional hose barb adapter. The other capsules come with standard hose barb fittings for 1/2" tubing.
The 0.2µm pore size capsule comes gamma-radiation sterilized. Do not autoclave. Maximum operating temperature 88°C.
