Pall Gelman Serum Capsule

Polycarbonate and polypropylene capsule designed for heavy particulate applications, such as serum filtration. Incorporates a glass prefilter followed by a 1.2µm pore size Versapor® membrane to maximize throughput while removing the majority of the particulate. The non-media migrating Versapor assures that glass fibers are not shed downstream. Use as a prefilter for any of the Pall Gelman Culture Capsules to extend the life of the final filter. Cell culture certified.

The effective filtration area of the Serum Capsule is 500cm2. Maximum operating pressure is 3.5kg/cm2at 21°C and maximum operating temperature is 88°C. Not sterilized and not autoclavable. Hose barb inlet and outlet connections accept 1/2" I.D. tubing. Dimensions (L x diam): 26.9 x 6.3cm.
