MAGNA Nylon Membrane Filters

The impregnation process by which Osmonics MAGNA filters are manufactured produces a strong, dimensionally stable membrane of uniform pore size and excellent flow characteristics. Filters withstand handling and creasing without damage. The natural hydrophilicity of nylon eliminates the need for wetting agents. MAGNA membranes have a gravimetrically determined extractable level of less than 0.0015mg/cm2, suiting them for media filtration and sterilization of tissue cultures, pharmaceuticals, or biologicals. Autoclavable and unaffected by temperatures up to 180°C. White with a plain surface in pore sizes of 0.1 to 20µm. White surface with 3mm grid in 0.45µm pore size and 47mm diameter.
