Nanosep® and Nanosep MF
By Pall Life SciencesIdeal for concentration, desalting, or diafiltration applications. Useful for quickly and easily separating primers and unincorporated nucleotides from PCR products. Filter membranes are composed of polyethersulfone to minimize non-specific sample binding. The ultrasonic seal weld eliminates bypass and sample loss.
Ultrafiltration systems include polypropylene centrifuge tubes, available in 0.5, 3.5, 15, and 60mL sample volumes. The 3.5mL system is provided with a medium density polyethylene cap; the 15mL system is provided with a high density polyethylene cap. Filter membranes are available in 1 to 1000K MWCO sizes. Provided nonsterile, but can be sanitized with compatible chemicals such as 70% ethanol.
For reliable concentration and desalting of 50 to 500µL samples with recoveries greater than 90%. Nanosep features low protein-binding Omega membrane (modified polyethersulfone on polyethylene substrate); Nanosep MF is offered with either a Bio-Inert nylon membrane or a GH Polypro (hydrophilic polypropylene) membrane. Use with any rotor that accepts 1.5mL tubes.
