Osmonics MicronSep™ Mixed Esters of Cellulose
By GE OsmonicsMicronSep™ filters of mixed esters of cellulose provide high flow rates and throughputs in several micropore sizes. Membranes are hydrophilic with a wetting agent extractable level of less than 4% and a general porosity range of 70 to 80%. Mean thickness 150µm.
Biologically inactive with an ash residue of less than 0.045% of initial weight, they are ideal for a wide variety of applications, including microbiological determination, clarification of aqueous solutions, and determination of elements such as lead, chromium, cadmium, beryllium, and arsenic and of airborne particles such as asbestos.
Membranes are available in white or in black with a plain surface or imprinted with a 3mm grid for particle counting. White nitrocellulose filters are autoclavable at 121°C for 20 minutes; black filters are not autoclavable. Triton free.
