Osmonics NitroPure Transfer Membrane

NitroPure by Osmonics Inc. is a supported pure nitrocellulose membrane that combines the binding characteristics of nitrocellulose with the strength of nylon. Ideal for applications where nitrocellulose has been used in the past (DNA and RNA transfers), it outperforms unsupported nitrocellulose when extensive handling is required (as in reprobing or colony and plaque lifts).

Osmonics' unique process of impregnating pure nitrocellulose polymer onto an inert web produces a strong, dimensionally stable hybridization membrane that does not curl, crack, or tear, even after baking.

Pure nitrocellulose ensures the highest binding nitrocellulose membrane, approximately 100µg/cm². All Osmonics membranes are Triton-free and do not contain any other cytotoxins.
