Whatman™ Protran™ Nitrocellulose Membrane Filters

Use in microbiological studies, aerosol sampling, DNA/RNA hybridization studies and filtering aqueous solutions.

Examples of specific applications of different membrane filter grades:

• Grade BA85 - Ultrafiltration of water, detecting E. coli and coliforms, sterility testing, detecting micro-organisms in blood, in DNA/RNA studies and in biochemical investigations.
• Grade BA83 - Cold sterilization of water and other solutions, determining color-fastness, malt analysis, sterility testing and bacteria counts.

Also available in larger disks and as sheets and rolls.
