Aquaprep™ Groundwater Sampling Capsules

Disposable polypropylene filters designed specifically for sample preparation of groundwater for dissolved metals analysis. These filters provide a simple, efficient method of meeting US EPA filtration requirements. Pall Gelman offers two devices for groundwater filtration, the Aquaprep™ filter and the Groundwater Sampling Capsule. Devices are self-contained and disposable, with stepped hose barb inlet and outlet connectors for 1/4 to 1/2" I.D. tubing. Maximum operating temperature is 60°C. Maximum operating pressure is 4.2kg/cm2, with a maximum momentary pressure of 7.1kg/cm2 at ambient temperature.

The Aquaprep™ filter provides 20cm2 of effective filtration area for efficient filtration of particulate-free samples. It uses Thermopor (polyester reinforced polyethersulfone) filter media.

The Groundwater Sampling Capsules provide 600cm2 of effective filtration area, reducing the need for multiple filter changes when sampling silty, particulate-laden water. They use Supor® (inherently hydrophilic polyethersulfone) filter media.
