Celltreat® Tissue Culture flasks are manufactured under the most stringent conditions and include a 100% integrity test to assure the reliability with your tissue and cell culture work. Class 100,000 clean room, USP class VI virgin polystyrene, and ISO 9001:2000 quality management systems all contribute to the consistent tissue and cell culture performance of our products. The tissue culture surface treatment used for Celltreat® products provides a negatively charged hydrophilic surface and results in a consistent cell attachment surface. Growth surfaces are flat and free from striation to maximize usable growth area and transparency.
Flasks are available in several different sizes: 12.5cm2, 25cm2, 75cm2, 182cm2, 225cm2, and 300cm2. Two different cap styles are available. Plug seal caps can provide a closed system or allow gas exchange with a one quarter turn of the cap. Vent caps contain a 0.22µm filter to allow gas exchange and minimize the risk of cross contamination. All Tissue Culture Flasks listed are tissue culture surface treated and sterile (gamma irradiated).
Innovative canted neck design offers excellent pipet and cell scraper access. Flasks include engraved graduations on two sides and ridges for easy stacking. All flasks are packaged in easy opening re-sealable (zip closure) bags with the lot number printed on each bag.
The 25cm2 flasks have a new and improved design, with a larger neck opening for easier access, and larger cap with easy-to-grip textured edges. A multi-position plug seal cap allows for venting when needed (vent seal cap also available, with increased surface area for improved gas exchange). Additionally, readability is enhanced with bigger graduation markings and new recommended fill line mark.
