Thermolyne™ Benchtop 1100°C Muffle Furnaces

Applications:

  • Ashing most types of organic, inorganic samples.
  • Heat treating small steel parts.
  • Ignition tests.
  • Gravimetric analysis.
  • Determination of volatile and suspended solids.

Ceramic fiber insulation permits faster heat-up, reduces energy consumption. Embedded heating element on top and both sides improves temperature uniformity. Drop-down door doubles as a convenient shelf for loading and unloading. The rear of the chamber incorporates a 0.38" (0.95 cm) diameter port for monitoring chamber temperatures with independent measuring devices. Single set point digital control. A single display shows actual temperature or set point

Door safety switch protects operator by cutting power to heating elements when the door is open. Thermocouple break protection cuts power to heating elements, preventing a thermocouple failure runaway condition.
