Herathermâ„¢ Advanced Protocol Ovens
By ThermoIn addition to incorporating the benefits of the Heratherm™ General Protocol ovens, the Advanced Protocol range boasts additional features providing even more flexibility, accuracy and dependability. Ovens provide unsurpassed temperature performance, making them an indispensable tool in the lab to be used for multiple applications. Choose between gravity or mechanical convection. Gravity convection units are designed to protect delicate samples while offering temperature uniformity of ±2.9°C or better, and temperature stability of at least ±0.3°C at 150°C. Mechanical convection models provide temperature uniformity of ±1.5°C or better, and temperature stability of at least ±0.2°C at 150°C.
Ovens boast a broad temperature range and are capable of operating at temperatures up to 330°C. Adjustable fan speed for application-related airflow in mechanical convection models (e.g. drying of powders). High speed for expedited drying and heating, quick recovery, and optimal temperature stability and uniformity. Programmable controller for temperature ramps and dwells. Up to 10 programs can be saved, each with 10 discrete steps (programs can be repeated automatically). Exceptionally low energy consumption – 60 liter models just need 170 W (gravity convection) and 275 W (mechanical convection) per hour to maintain 150°C.
Ovens feature electronically controlled fan speed and damper position. Access port allows the introduction of sensors for independent data monitoring. Simple calibration routine ensures temperature accuracy over time. Boost function enables rapid heating up—no need to operate the oven 24/7. Supplied with two shelves, with a maximum load of 25kg (55lbs) per shelf. Additional shelves are available separately.
