Biohit® SafetySpace™ Filter Tips

Biohit’s SafetySpace™ Filter Tips are made of virgin polypropylene and feature filter (PE) barriers to prevent aerosol and liquid contamination. This helps protect against the risk of cross-contamination and reduces maintenance requirements of the pipette. SafetySpace™ tips are well suited for molecular biology, microbiology, cell culture ad radioactive work.
SafetySpace® Tips have more space between the sample and the filter than conventional filter tips, so you don't need to worry about the sample touching the filter whatever pipetting technique or type of liquid you’re using. They are particulary useful in:
- pipetting foaming liquids like buffers and proteins
- pipetting solvents
- reverse pipetting
- multiple dispensing functions of electronic pipettes
Tips are packed in colour-coded single tray racks. They are certified DNase, RNase and endotoxin free and are e-beam pre-sterilized.
