Together with LTS pipettes, they reduce tip ejecting forces by up to 85%. Additionally, on multichannel-models, the LTS system guarantees perfectly even performance on all channels.
Low Retention Tips are ultra hydrophobic and are ideal for pipetting proteins, enzymes and DNA. They ensure higher pipetting accuracy and reproducibility, even when working with binding samples. Consructed of 100% inert virgin polypropylene with no silicone, fillers, clarifiers or releasing agents to ensure sample purity. High-quality and highly polished tip molds produce extremely smooth tip surfaces free of surface defects. Tips feature an exposed trifluoromethyl surface on the interior and exterior walls of the polypropylene tip. This highly inert fluorocarbon polymer is not compromised by autoclaving and creates very low surface energy to help repel liquids. More pipetting accuracy means less waste of your valuable samples.
