Rainin Pipet Tips For Traditional Pipettes - GreenPak™
By RaininRainin Traditional Tips have a traditional conical design, designed to fit pipettes of all standard manufacturers as well as the traditional (non-LTS) pipettes of Rainin. Manufactured under clean-room conditions, these tips are 100% contamination-free, ensuring top performance by preventing experiment inconsistencies and failures. Continuous tapering and thin-walled construction give Rainin tips greater flexibility, a softer feel and a better performance than standard or beveled tips. Tips are BioClean: clean and fully automated manufacturing and packaging in clean room conditions. No human contact means no contamination. Tips are constructed with top quality virgin polypropylene material and a product of state-of-the-art manufacturing.
Rainin Green-Pak™ tips are individual tip-rack refills for use with traditional pipettes. They are available in 3 sizes, with volume ranges from 0.1µL to 1000µL. They require an empty RT rack for use and are available presterilized and with aerosol-resistant filters. They are easy to align over the empty rack for fast and trouble-free loading with 75% less waste. The empty racks can also be used for SpaceSaver™ tip refills.
- Aerosol Resistant Tips offer proven protection against aerosol contamination. Certified free of RNase, DNase, DNA, Pyrogens, and ATP. Hydrophobic filter eliminates contamination by forming a barrier against aerosols and liquids, eliminating potential sample and pipette cross contamination that could jeopardize results. Filters used in Rainin aerosol-resistant tips are an extremely strong chemically inert matrix molded from pure virgin polyethylene that does not flake or shed particles. The average pore size of 20 microns prevents aerosol passage but does not restrict air flow. Filtered and pre-sterilized bioclean tips are gamma-irradiated to ensure the packaged product is free of bio-burden contamination.
- ShaftGard™ 10µL tips offer the best insurance against cross-contamination with complete protection of shaft and tip ejector. The shaft and tip ejector fit inside the ShaftGard™ tip, protecting them from accidental contamination. This reduces the need to decontaminate or sterilize the pipette shaft and tip ejector when working with biological, radioactive, or other critical samples. ShaftGard™ tips are longer for optimal microtube access.
