Corning® 15mL and 50mL conical bottom centrifuge tubes are available in either clear polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The 50mL self-standing tubes come with clear PP construction only. Choose between advanced CentriStar™ caps or the traditional polyethylene plug seal cap. The CentriStar™ Cap has a easy-on/easy-off flat top and offers advanced ergonomics with its wider knurls and roll-over edge design for easier gripping. The leak-proof design comes with a revolutionary plug feature that virtually eliminates all seepage when used under recommended conditions.
All centrifuge tubes have black printed graduations and a large white marking spot. Sterile, certified nonpyrogenic and DNase-/RNase-free. Available with either foam rack or resealable zip lock bag bulk packaging. Cat.No. 83-4558 is packaged in Universal Racks, which can securely hold both 15mL and 50mL size tubes on the same rack, allowing for convenient storage of multiple sized tubes.
