Nunc-Immuno™ Culture Tubes

These tubes are used for IRMA, ELISA and ILMA techniques and in many diagnostic kits for hormone measurements and infectious disease detection. Made of polystyrene or polyethylene, they are available with three modified surfaces.
- The MaxiSorp™ surface has excellent affinity to immunoglobulins and similar proteins. Comes with a certificate of quality and performance.
- The PolySorp® surface is recommended for the adsorption of less polar molecules, for example, certain viral antigens and lipids. May reduce high background readings associated with viral and cellular lysates.
- The MiniSorp® surface tubes are molded from a special formulation of polyethylene. They exhibit very low affinity for proteins and are commonly used for solution reactions. Unlike ordinary glass or plastic tubes, they can reduce nonspecific adsorption, making them ideal for storing immunoassay reagents.
The MaxiSorp® and PolySorp® treated tubes are available with a star-shaped bottom for improved adsorption and mixing efficiency, greater sensitivity and shortened incubation time.
