SnapTwist™ Micrewtubes® are high quality microcentrifuge tubes that can be securely sealed by simply capping the closures on. Ideal for freezer storage, boiling application, and centrifugation. Clear polypropylene tubes will fit most standard microcentrifuge rotors.
Removal of caps requires an easy 1/4 turn, eliminating the danger of spillage. The deep internal lip of the cap fits snugly against the interior wall of the tube, preventing the contents from coming in contact with the threads and reducing sample contamination. A leakproof seal is accomplished without excessive tightening of the closure.
Choose between self-standing or conical bottom tubes. Caps are constructed of high density polyethylene and are available in a variety of colors, with or without loops. Conical bottom tubes can be centrifuged up to 20,000g. Temperature range: -90 °C to +100 °C. Certified RNase-, DNase-, Pyrogen- and DNA-free.
