For optimal performance in the laboratory, PET plastic vials provide a combination of features previously unavailable in a counting vial. For example, these vials can be safely incinerated; no harmful gas is generated, only CO2 and H2O are created. Lightweight, virtually unbreakable plastic has the clarity of glass.
