DWK Life Sciences (Kimble) Unsaturation Gasoline Bottle
Kimax® bottle used in the determination of unsaturated hydrocarbons in gasoline.
The body of the bottle (approximately 45mL capacity) is a "reaction vessel" in which an accurately measured sample is pipetted into the bottle; excess reagent is then added. After the reaction is complete, more reagent is added to raise the "fat column" into the calibrated neck of the bottle, where results are read directly as a percentage of fat in the sample.
Manufactured from 33 expansion, low extractable borosilicate glass conforming to USP Type I and ASTM E438, Type I, Class A requirements.
