Clear and amber vials feature a white polypropylene open-top screw cap has a specially designed septum of 5 mils of PTFE facing 0.120 mils of silicone. The polypropylene is glass-filled to provide extra chemical and heat resistance compared to standard polypropylene. The septa are bonded to the cap providing a permanent connection.
