These Corning® hot plates have a durable glass-ceramic Pyroceram® top and offer a low profile, space-saving design. Temperature range: 77–896°F (25–480°C). Advanced insulation technology conserves energy by keeping heat safely at the top where it belongs. Two-piece casting design deflects spills from electronics, which are enclosed for improved performance and durability. Heating is microprocessor-controlled and passes FCC regulations for Electromagnetic Interference (EMI). Easy-to-read numbers simplify measurements, and rugged, extra-large knobs provide greater control for gloved fingers. Flatter, whiter Pyroceram® top conducts heat more efficiently and evenly. Hot top indicator light blinks a warning if the top is too hot to touch (>140°F), even when the unit is turned off. Two-year warranty. Worldwide regulatory approval—UL, CUL, IEC 1010, CE, and GS approved.
