Nalgene™ Polycarbonate Faceshield

 

Wear the adjustable Thermo Scientific Nalgene™ Polycarbonate Faceshield over safety glasses. With an optically clear window made of 1/16" (1.5mm) thick polycarbonate, this faceshield provides impact protection as well as protection from UV light in the 200-360nm range. It is useful in germicidal procedures as well as reading of chromatographic/electrophoretic strips and gels. Complies with OSHA 29CFR1910.1030 and ANSI Z87.1-1989 standards for use with bloodborne pathogens.

The wraparound design offers both front and side protection and the height provides coverage from the bottom of the neck to the top of the head. Features a comfortable and adjustable polyethylene headdress.

Note:UV protection from 200 to 360nm (UV radiation may cause the polycarbonate to develop a slight yellow/brown tint.) Do not use with radioisotopes. Use Nalgene beta-radiation shields when working with beta-radioisotopes. Not autoclavable.
