Class 100 Cleanroom Ovens

Thermo Scientific® Class 100 Cleanroom Ovens are ultraclean, meeting or exceeding Class 100 air standards and making them ideal for semiconductor and electronics applications. Ovens feature an exclusive mechanical-convection airflow system with rapid temperature rise and recovery times to ensure excellent temperature control and uniformity. A fan removes heat generated by the bottom oven, preventing damage to the top unit.
User-friendly PID microprocessor temperature control allows repeated temperature settings from ambient +5° to 250°C. Choose between a single- or four-program controller: single-program controller has eight segments, ramp adjustable from as low as 0.01°C/min. and dwell from 0 to 9999 min while four-program controller offers 16 segments, ramp from as low as 1°C/min. and dwell from 0.0 to 999.9 min. Platinum RTD sensor measures actual chamber temperature. Flowmeter and 0.3µm filter for purging with nitrogen (available only on units with HEPA filters) and 3mm (0.125 in.) NPT fitting for introducing inert gas or house air into chamber.
Safety features include an adjustable high-limit hydraulic thermostat with indicator lamp to maintain temperature a few degrees above setpoint in the event of primary control failure, effectively preventing overtemperature conditions. Fused electrical system provides overload safeguards and 7.6cm (3 in.) of silica-based insulation between chamber and exterior walls minimizes heat radiation to surrounding environment.
Ovens have a durable cold-rolled steel exterior with a white powder-coat finish; interior is corrosion-resistant stainless steel. Drawer-style control panel is protected from spills and pulls out easily for access. Four adjustable perforated stainless-steel shelves. Supports and plenums remove easily for cleaning. Adjustable door hinge, lever-actuated positive door latch and silicone gasket prevent heat loss. To save space, a stacking option is available for the 3494M-1, and 3495M-1 series cleanroom ovens.
