Designed to be used with mineral oil or a similar liquid to monitor gas flow to organic reactions. Unit has a Standard Taper 24/40 ground joint and can be used with single or multi-necked flasks having a similar opening. Approximately 10mL of oil is required to seal the lower inner tube. The rate of gas flow can then be observed. Tubing connection is 8mm O.D.
