Ideal for general lab applications such as mixing reagents and stirring bacteriological cultures, this stirrer's hotplate is made of high grade aluminum alloy with an anodized surface resistant to corrosion. The aluminum body and brushless motor provide maintenance free operation.
This hotplate stirrer takes only 8 minutes to raise the plate's temperature from ambient to 300°C, while the brushless DC motor provides accurate stirring speed. Strong magnets prevent loss of speed and a warning light flashes when plate is hot. Automatic shut off while plate's temperature exceeds 350°C or no indication of temperature rise after 30 seconds of heating.
