  • Porous divinylbenzene homopolymer
  • A PLOT column with polarity between Porapak-Q and Porapak-N
  • Separates ethane, ethylene and ethyne (acetylene)
  • Not recommended for quantification of polar compounds
  • Minimal conditioning time required — one hour

Note: GS-Q has proved useful for separations of various gases, including freons and sulfides (except for SO2). Although GS-Q is not suitable for quantitating water or alcohols, aqueous injections will not harm the column.
