Hydrocarbon and Hydro-Moisture Traps

For use in such vapor phase applications as GC, the fine pore, high density activated carbon in these hydrocarbon and hydro-moisture units is especially suited for effective trapping of alcohols, ethers, esters, chlorinated hydrocarbons, ketones and aromatics.
All metal construction to eliminate the possibility of organic contaminants that may bleed from plastic housings. O-ring sealed male tube connectors (1/8" or 1/4") at both inlet and outlet are equipped with 40µm sintered stainless steel frits to provide protection from particulates. The carbon adsorbent is prepurged before packaging to remove all traces of moisture.
Because the unit is non-indicating, the manufacturer recommends that the adsorbent be changed routinely.
