These nonindicating traps will reduce oxygen present in a gas stream to less than 15 ppb to protect fused silica capillary columns with PEG-based or other oxygen sensitive phases. Up to 2g of moisture can be removed without affecting the trap's oxygen capacity. Also recommended for use with electron capture detectors since it effectively prevents degradation of the detector's radioactive source.
The all metal canister virtually eliminates contamination and resultant signal noise. Because the unit is filled under a heated flow of ultra high purity helium, there is no need for extensive purging before the trap is put in service.
Both inlet and outlet fittings are equipped with 40mm sintered stainless steel frits to exclude dust from the carrier lines. Available with 1/4" or 1/8" fittings.
