EL Series Ultraviolet Lamps

The EL Series UV Lamps from UVP provide models of longwave (365nm), shortwave (254nm), midrange (302nm) ultraviolet or white light in four, six or eight watts (302nm not available in the four-watt style). Lamps are manufactured with a durable, extruded metal housing and scratch-resistant powder paint. The J-138 universal lamp stand design accommodates any of the EL Series Lamps for hands-free lamp operation.
The compact, economical four-watt lamps can be used with UVP’s C-10E Chromato-Vue® Cabinet (Cat.No. 49-95-0072-08) for a darkroom environment. Six-watt lamps provide a wider area of illumination and intensity. The eight-watt style can be used with the C-65 Chromato-Vue® Cabinet (Cat.No. 49-95-0257-01).
- The basic configuration of the EL Series lamp houses one UV tube and one white light tube, for the advantage of white light or UV illumination in one unit. Use white light when working with materials in a dimly-lit area. A selector switch located on the lamp back makes it easy to change from one light source to the other.
- Twin models utilize two tubes of the same wavelength. Both tubes operate at the same time, giving added UV intensity.
- The 2UV™ Models use two different wavelengths. Choosing a model with different wavelengths provides flexibility for a variety of uses.
- The 3UV™ Model, available only in the 8-watt style, gives three UV wavelengths in one unit. Easily switch among the three wavelengths as your application requires.
