This proprietary phase permits baseline resolution of ethanol from interfering with components in biological matrices like blood and urine using appropriate headspace analysis.
Every column is use-tested to assure baseline resolution of methanol, ethanol, isopropanol, n-propanol, and n-butanol. Additionally, the column will resolve many other common interferents like acetaldehyde and acetone. An application note shipped with the column describes conditions permitting GC analysis times under 4 minutes, total GC cycle-times under 7 minutes, with MDL for ethanol of 0.0003%.
