ChillBlock™ Profile Fit Microcentrifuge Tube Racks

Simport's ChillBlock™ Tube Racks are made of a thermo-conductive metal alloy to eliminate the inconsistencies that occur when inserting tubes directly into ice, dry ice, alcohol baths, water baths, and other common laboratory temperature sources. Place the ChillBlock™ rack directly onto a temperature source and it will rapidly adapt to that temperature from -150°C to >+100°C. Racks ensure +/- 0.1°C temperature uniformity of all tubes when cooling, freezing, or heating.

S700-16 and S700-18 ChillBlock™ Profile Fit Microcentrifuge Tube Racks are available with either 15 & 30 wells holding 1.5mL snap cap microcentrifuge tubes. S700-14 is a 30-well rack and holds 0.5mL tubes. An alphanumeric grid allows for indexing rows and columns for easy tube location. Each cavity will ensure a more efficient thermal exchange since it is direct contact with the entire tube wall.
