Placed above a boiling flask to prevent foaming-type reactions from entering either the distilling column or the condenser. Useful with rotary evaporators Cat.No. 186-517000-2440 features a more extensive baffle system than other traps. Manufactured from 33 expansion, low extractable borosilicate glass conforming to USP Type I and ASTM E438, Type I, Class A requirements.
