Soxhlet-type extraction apparatus with a bulb-type Allihn condenser, used for the continuous extraction of solids with a suitable solvent. Improved design with a protected siphon tube, an enlarged vapor tube and sloping seals to prevent the trapping of liquid. Standard Taper joints connect the condenser to the extractor and the extractor to the flask. Uses paper, alundum, or fritted glass extraction thimbles (not supplied).
